New Genre of Book Was Born !!!

For book lovers, here I give ya a new genre of books that may not have met you before ...

This genre is I like and includes a new genre, because the genre is not as simple comic, but also not as heavy as novel. Genre that I'm talking about here is 'realistic fiction' that is presented in the form of journal / diary but  illustrated with cartoons. The story inside was taken from the original life of the author, but coupled with the spices that make the reader enthusiastic about this books.

I already found the original book called 'Diary of A Wimpy Kid'. From the title we might have guessed what's the story inside. This book has six series with different subtitle. Each subtitle tells the story of the events experienced by the main character in a story on an ongoing basis.

"I need to stress again to you that this book is a journal, not a diary, though I knew what was written on the cover" That's the first sentence of the first series presented in this book.

First I'll tell you about the main character in this story. The wimpy kid who told in this book is a boy named Greg Heffley and usually called just 'Greg'. Greg lives with his five family members, Frank Heffley—Dad,  Susan Heffley—Mom, his brother who very abusive to him—Rodrick Heffley, and his younger brother  who always complain what he had seen—Manny Heffley, which he found very inconvenient. Greg had a neighbour who became his best friend at once—Rowley. Also a new neighbour’s child—Fregley, who always act like a freakman (actually really freak). Greg had just entered his Junior High School along with Rowley. 

 

This is the first series Diary of A Wimpy Kid book cover. Greg told inside when the initial entry into school. Here also told that Greg is infatuated with video games and start making himself noticed by the girls at school, despite all his efforts failed. That’s make Greg very shame at all.

Well, that is the second series of the book cover. Which is make you LOL (Laugh Out Loud) guaranteed because this story. Because mostly tell about Rodrick, Greg's brother with his arbitrary, also his wiles. Rodrick is always made Greg as the wrong person on all issues  in their home. Anyway, Greg is very unlucky in this series thanks to Rodrick who make that. So, the subtitle is 'Rodrick Rules'.

If the third series, the subtitle 'Last Straw'. Here Greg do all he can to get what he wants and attempt to escape from problems which he or someone else make. Obviously with the ridiculous efforts and sometimes doesn’t make sense. But that's which makes it funny. When the summer holidays, Greg attend the football team who the coach is a friend of Greg's father. This series of stories happening on the final days of school, where Greg will graduate from high school.

This fourth series with the subtitle ‘Dog Days’. In this series, Greg had visited his summer with a barrage of problems. Until the end of his summer holiday, Greg is still not 'fluent' in his life. However, in fact that he made him that way. Rodrick plays a major role in giving advice that is enough to make worse Greg’s problem.

 

‘The Ugly Truth’ is the subtitle for the fifth series of Diary of A Wimpy Kid. Greg presented there in desperation due to the efforts he has deployed to get his wish complete failure. Greg even worse cornered in an option that makes it very doubtful. Ways to be adult is the most thing which told here. Because of that, Greg’s plans and hopes is not going well.

And this is the last series of Diary of A Wimpy Kid. Well, I hope the story more fun, LOL plus, more make a shriek, and certainly entertaining. When viewed from the cover, maybe when it happens at times of winter. Become more curious about, right ... We look forward for publisher to publishing it ... Right? :-)
